About
This blog is written and managed by myself, Marcus Bearden. I’ve been blogging since 1998; before blogging reached the mainstream acceptance of today. Originally well known in the game development and web hosting spaces, I’ve grown my markets to encompass a wider scope of interests. I began my entrepreneurial career relatively early, starting the first of several business ventures many years ago at the age of 14. In addition my experience in the entrepreneurial world, I’ve worked in public relations, account management, and large-scale project and division management positions. A few industries I’ve become truly passionate about are industrial & embedded PCs, web development, and small business management. There’s something both fulfilling and intriguing about studying these industries and challenging myself every day to be better than I was the day prior.
Throughout my years as a young entrepreneur, suffice to say, I’ve learned a few the hard way. As anyone else, there have been ups and downs. I’ve taken each of those opportunities in my life to learn, grow, and further develop my skills and network of strong relationships. Kolgoth.com is one of my many attempts to share the knowledge I’ve gained and will continue to gain as I progress through my career.
